The start of the year 2020 has not been good to anyone around the world. The Covid-19 pandemic really does affects to anyone from the unemployed to employed, married, single or any businesses. The word “Social Distancing”, “Physical Distancing” and “Lockdown” have been heard daily from news or any kind of shows. I would have to say that this has been really tough to anyone of us and we can get through this. I have been working from home for a month and to be honest, I am really worried and anxiety has been through the roof. From work related to any normal situations that should be fun and exciting (e.g. walking around at the morning or visiting your favorite places).

While anyone can be affected by this, I am currently expecting so that’s is an extra worry that I need to think about: my upcoming labor process, my baby shopping to doctor’s visit, and so on, so on. I don’t want to complain but being at home with all of the passing time makes me wonder whether this is what the society needs? Take a break for a second? Throughout these past five years, global warming and the impending climate change has been the hot topic and yet here we are now with better air quality just because we stopped functioning outside or house. But, the blessing in disguise had some obstacles in mind. For instance, the loss of jobs and recession that kept everyone on edge. The anxiety and fear that the media portrayed just made it..worse than the disease itself.

With all of the negativity and stress from around us may I remind you all that we are lucky to be here alive and breathing the air right now to know what is precious in life. Don’t take anything for granted and just live day by day.

Although with these, I have some couples of ideas to relax your mind and soul at home:

  1. Take a breather: exercise at home, meditate
  2. Spring cleaning! with nothing in store, clean up your closet and set them apart from your closet.
  3. Eat healthy and imboost your immune system
  4. Don’t forget to wash your hands!

It’s been a while since I have writing in this platform and I can’t wait how this year turned out to be. As for me? I want to enjoy the life that I have day by day and not give a F to what anyone said to undermine who you are.
